PTLCart Order Picking
After sending an order to the PTLControl (used as PTLCart), the screen is used to process orders. This quick start guide shows how it works.
The screen shows the number of orders, and the progress of the current batch of orders. Tap the “Go” button on the left to start the run.
In the settings screen, you can enable or disable several scans within the process. This guide shows the workings with all scans off.
After starting the run, the screen shows the location where to pick the items, its barcode and (if available) the description. The total number of items is shown on the right (in this case 400). When you need to place items on the cart, the pick to light tags will light up with the number of items for each order.
You can either use the pick to licht tags to change the number, or the screen. Just tap the number of items in the box on the right, and a number pad shows.
After changing the number and pressing enter, the number of items to place is updated, both on screen and on the pick to lights.
Press the lights to finish the lines.
If a number per order is higher than 999 (which will not fit on the tag), the tags shows ---
and the line will be done ‘alone’.
When all lines are done, this finish screen is shown. Take all orders from the cart, push the button on the left and you can start over.
