Introduction
Aim is to reduce the handling time by preventing the stock assignment of both bulk and pick locations to satisfy an order line. The theory is when a bulk locations is used its normally better to complete the whole line from bulk; leaving the normal pick stock for other order lines.
Basics
With this option activated we do some extra work after the order line assignment. When all articles can be assigned we check if both normal pick and bulk locations are used. In this case we retry an assignment with only bulk items if this satisfies the order completely we are done and have prevented a so called mixed bulk pick. However in the case we detect that bulk items alone can’t satisfy the order line we will fallback to using all pick locations. Customizations Status

| When active we prevent order lines to be picked from both none-bulk and bulk locations. We prefer bulk locations in case pick locations lack stock. When both lack enough stock we use normal allocation. Defaults to pick from bulk should be allowed |
